The Body of Christ Ministry emerged out of a profound necessity, driven by a burden placed upon Apostle John Bush. Witnessing a lack of churches working together to spread God’s Word and compel people to come to Him, a deep yearning for unity, love, and truth stirred within him.

Apostle John recognized that many believers were not receiving the teachings rooted in love and true understanding that they so desperately needed. The Word of God was often preached out of context and diluted, lacking its purest form. Compelled by his burden and seeking God’s guidance, Apostle John embarked on a journey to establish BOC DFW.

As BOC DFW began to flourish and impact lives, a strong desire emerged among members in Houston to establish a church in their city as well. Thus, BOC Houston was birthed, and God’s hand has been evident in its growth ever since. The church continues to experience a steady influx of individuals seeking truth and a genuine encounter with God.

At BOC Houston, we wholeheartedly believe in the authority and sufficiency of Scripture. The teachings are firmly rooted in God’s Word, and it remains the foundation upon which our faith and practices are built. We strive to honor the Scriptures by teaching them with accuracy, context, and a deep understanding of God’s love and grace.

In this ministry, we recognize that we are complete in Him, finding our identity and purpose in Christ alone. We rely on His power and guidance to keep us, knowing that apart from Him, we can do nothing. The Holy Spirit moves and leads us, illuminating the truth of God’s Word and empowering us to live out our faith daily.
